I’m really a bit ashamed to write about what I’ve purchased over the past few weeks — it’s been a lot! haha! My parents were in town, and I finally got a paycheck from work, so my wallet has been working overtime. 

I needed new work clothes, so of course my amazing mother agreed to help me build up my wardrobe with some adorable Banana Republic tops (collage, left) and Ann Taylor Loft pieces (below):

I wanted some pieces that would keep my work look a little bit younger, so I opted for some Kensie dresses as well:

Kensie is really becoming one of my favorite brands — quality dresses for under $80! I always get compliments when I wear these, and I’m definitely excited to invest in more. It’s sad to think that my Forever 21 obsession is calming down, but honestly, it’s hard to be taken seriously when it’s obvious that your dress was $15 and falling apart. Dress for the job you want, right?

I also went a little crazy in the Lord and Taylor beauty department (obviously). Estee Lauder was giving away gifts with a purchase of $35 or more, so I grabbed a red lipstick and liquid (yes, liquid!) eyeliner (collage) and got several adorable gifts. Get ready for a plethora of reviews — I’ve purchased way too many things to keep up!
