Capes: Not Just for Super Heroes
The biggest Fall Trend I still don’t get? Capes. When Glamour reported in February that capes would be all the rage, I didn’t know what to make of it. Seriously? What about all those years I spent making fun of poncho-wearers? (just kidding!)

Once again, I was confronted with the reality that this is a serious trend. While shopping around on Lord and Taylor’s website, I came across a “What We Love” Section dedicated to capes! What is going on here?
I’m still pretty confused about it, and not sure if it’s going to be the kind of trend with staying power or not. While it seems to be super comfortable, I can already tell that it will prevent me from carrying an over the shoulder bag — an essential in the winter for me! But we’ll see — I just may jump onto the bandwagon with this one.
What do you think? Will you be sporting a cape this Fall?

I genuinely believe this is an elaborate prank perpetrated by the global fashion cartel (OFEC). Vive l’Etsy!

Yes, capes. I’ve always loved the drape-y, flow-y look of wearing ponchos, but not the ridiculousness of trying to write or draw or sew or pay for things while wearing one.
Kinda makes me wish I’d sewn the capes I’ve dreamed of sooner, though. :/
