Boots Botanics Clay Mask
Let me first start by saying that I am so sorry that it’s been so long! A week isn’t that bad, but I’ve been moving, concentrating on work, and trying to adjust to my new schedule, so please forgive me. I’ve missed everyone! But now, on with business:

It’s truly been too long since I’ve had a deep cleaning face mask. Taking the subway and walking the dirty, smelly city streets in the summer inspired me to make a long overdue purchase.
When I was in England a couple years back, I fell in love with overseas beauty products, especially the Boots collection. They came stateside to Target, but I haven’t actually picked anything up until now. I was in the mood to try something new, so I grabbed a Conditioning Clay Mask for $8.99.
When I was finished cleansing my face I applied a liberal amount of the green organic mask to my face avoiding the eyes (nothing special). During application, I noticed that the mask itself is quite gentle on skin. The normal burning sensation I’m used to feeling from clay or mud masks wasn’t as strong, which was a welcome change. After killing 10 minutes by watching some television and asking my boyfriend if I looked like an alien (he said yes), it was time to wash it all off.
I removed the mask with like warm water, and my skin really truly felt like it could breathe again. Any small gust of wind from my small fan or even my boyfriend walking past made my skin tingle. After examining my skin I noticed that most of my blackheads were gone, and that a small breakout I had on top of my forehead was much smaller.
I woke up the next morning with soft, clear skin. And that pesky little zit? Gone. So while I may have looked like an alien for a good 15 minutes the night before, I’m going to go ahead and say that it was totally worth it.
