Happy August, beauties! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I had a great time with my parents, who came to town for 3 days. We ate at some seriously delicious restaurants throughout the city, and they took me shopping! So expect a “What I Bought” entry very soon :)

Lip stain is practically imperative to keep lip color fresh throughout the day, especially in the summer heat. Lip gloss melts, and forgetting to reapply lipstick always comes too easily to me. The answer? Lip stain.

I like to put my lip stain on in the morning, and add a matching or similar lipstick color over it once I’m in the office. When my lipstick eventually fades (usually after lunch), it’s hardly noticeable because of my lip stain! Pure genius.
