WTF Do I Wear… For a Summer Interview?
I was recently faced with a serious fashion dilemma: how do I look like a serious professional when it’s 95 degrees out and I have to walk 5 blocks and take the train? The answer: a big enough purse to stuff my blazer in post-interview.

Not pictured: The ballet flats that were in my purse, also ready for post-interview.
Interview outfits are pretty tricky! It’s important to come across as professional, but I never want to lose my sense of self. For my most recent interview, I knew that I wanted a professional, fashionable look. The black blazer and charcoal gray top created a serious, corporate feel, and the colorful pencil skirt made sure I still looked like myself: fun, feminine, and summer friendly.
Lose the blazer, swap the heels for ballet flats, and voila, the outfit transitions perfectly for a humid day.
Do you have a go to interview outfit?
