I’ve definitely been feeling that it’s time for something that sparkles and shines — don’t you think?

I’ve been a little too scared to try out the glitter-on-nails trend, so I went with something a little more subtle. OPI’s “Over the Taupe” as the base, and Essie’s “Luxe Effects: A Cut Above” to add some seasonal sparkle. 

I love the color combo, and think it turned out really well! And it’s not too sparkly or holiday themed, so it can definitely carry me into the new year. What do you think? Not festive enough?

Also: My amazing boyfriend bought me a new camera for Christmas! So you can definitely expect to see a lot more pictures taken by your’s truly :). Not sure exactly what I’ll be doing just yet (outfit posts, make up tutorials?) — but I am just so freaking happy to have this camera! Thanks babe!
