In order to keep my skin acne and blackhead free, I try not to use the same facial cleanser every morning and night. And I definitely prefer cream cleansers, switching between one meant for clearing up acne and another meant for clearing up blackheads. But recently, I added a new facial cleanser to my regimen: The Boots Purifying Face Scrub. 

Many exfoliators are guilty of stripping away the skin’s natural oils and over drying. I needed something that would exfoliate without causing me to break out even more. And what’s more, I wanted something gentle enough to use on my lips. Winter means dry lips, and that is definitely a big no no when I’m trying to break out my favorite lip stick.

This facial scrub leaves my skin smooth, and dare I say, bright enough to start my day off right. However, for me it is definitely only a twice a week kind of scrub. I need those stronger active ingredients to do their magic for me on a more regular basis.
